This is a lookbook and sticker I got from my best friends cousins clothing company called GAS'D. At first glance, they only seem like a bunch of shapes, when really, they spell out LOVE. I thought this was a very clever example of typography. Also, it's very clean and sleek. It's not too confusing, and it's eye catching. Even the company's name is depicted using shapes and symbols. I tried taking a picture of it, but the print was way too light for my cellphone camera to capture.
A friend showed me this a while back, and I couldn't stop laughing. Obviously, this is a bad example of typography. We all know that this sign is NOT supposed to say ANAL REGISTRATION. The font's not too bad (probably wouldn't have been my first choice of font), but the problem is that the letter spacing in between FINAL REGISTRATION is way too tiny, causing the F and the I in "final" to merge together and form and A. I don't see how the people who put this sign up could miss that.

Isabel, this is a few good examples. Next I would like to see your visual Journal and the roughs from your square designs
